dEAD dOG pARK

dEAD dOG pARK, a new play by Barry Malawer, is a taut, rapid fire drama about a white police officer accused of pushing a twelve year old African American boy out a four story window during a police chase. This is a story about quilt and innocence pitted against a backdrop of prejudice and violence, truth and sensationalism. In the end, not even the cop can distinguish fact from fiction, certainty from doubt, as he stands at the precipice of his fate.

Boz and the Bard Productions, Inc., is in the process of bringing this powerful and timely examination of our attitudes toward race and violence to Off Broadway, NYC in 2014. Mr. Malawer is a playwright with the talent to draw an audience in at the first line of the play, causing you to hold your breath until the last heartbeat drums forth.
